Back to Ohio!

Well, my project here at Duke has fazed out. Grant was not renewed and no money left to chase this! So, went looking for new position for chance at R01. When I saw the job definition at Ohio State University, I decided to apply - just meeting the deadline by only 1 hour! The next morning, they were calling my references....holy cow!

So, I interviewed and got the job in the microbiology department at OSU working with Archaea bacteria - to determine how DNA replication can be maintained in temps as high as 280 deg C. We found a house in the city of Columbus...it is much smaller but it has over 3/4 acre of land! A rare find in Columbus property.
